妹The role I was assigned was a character who bullied the commoner protagonist and tried to get in the way of her love with a rich boy nicknamed Emperor; a typical villainess ojousama, Kisshouin Reika.
妹At the end of the story, Reika suffered the Emperor’s retribution and even her family fell into ruin. With the villain gone, the protagonist and the Emperor overcame their trials and became a couple. And they lived happily ever after.
妹Wait, that’s terrible for meee! The manga ended with just that, but I have to continue living my life after my family is ruined!
妹I’m fine with the protagonist having fun with her romance or love or whatever. I’ll erase my presence so that I don’t anger the Emperor.
妹Eh-? The story isn’t progressing well because there’s no villain, you say? But I’m busy saving up money and studying so that I can live well after the collapse.
妹I want to avoid getting involved with the Emperor as much as possible so that I don’t end up ruined. If you two are a destined couple, then please just get together even without facing those trials.

An english speaker would have difficulty to spell this word, in french pivoine can be pronounce ‘pi-voua-ne’ where ou is pronounced like in ‘would’ and the a like in ‘what’ ^^

Ririna is kinda memorable, but I have no idea who Sakursko is and had problems placing her other two friends. I assume Sakursko appeaes later on?

There’s the Class Rep group, which includes his crush, another dude, and one other girl.
Then there are the girls in the fanart on the Table of Contents page.
There’s also the ‘rougher, normal kids’ group from her high school cram school. They aren’t scared of her, and tease her rather. Your typical, slightly punky high school kids.
Finally, there’s Wakaba-chan. So in the end, it could be said that she makes a lot of friends. (:

If it were a manga one would see this gentle smiley talking. “Hello, I am Anonymous.” “This is my excuse for something trivial.” “I am trying to be politcally correct.” “Gokigen’ YOH” then comes the last pic in which you see smiley stickman choking another to death.
PS: the next page you would have a double page pic of the funeral with the dead stickmans spirit looking down saying “Worth it” and the smiley stickman mumbling ‘Damn right it was!’

Ah, well, I was actually going to translate Kenkyo today. I’ve been focusing on Tilea because it’s getting another light novel this month, and volume 2 should be covering all of Arc 2.
Since I want as many people to buy Volume 2 as possible, it stands to reason that I’d have to TRANSLATE Arc 2 first.

Umm, to be honest the series goes quite slowly through the high school section, which is a fantastic thing, but it also means that she hasn’t found a partner yet.
She makes a lot of great friends who really care for her though, so I’m pretty sure she’s living the definition of happiness already.

Hm, wondering what was it, that took precedence over the epicness of Tilea, I read something pretty random. Almost dropped midway through, since characters were quite nauseous back there. But fluffiness seems rather unique idd.
I also hope, that domineering Reika shall return. The only RPG element of studying is nowhere to be seen lately, and that’s sad too :( Guess, she’s not 16th anymore. Anyway, how can one be such a coward? It’s been nearly a decade, why not just tell the family and person himself, that she doesn’t like him in any way possible, and be done with it already? Desperately trying to make friends with anyone around too…even Ririko might have turned out to be the better best friend, than Sakura x_X Another thing is how MC is such an incredible goody two shoes. Why is it necessary to help out each and every one? Ahh, normal chaotic characters are sure hard to come by :(
Looks like High school is absurdly enormous, going for over 200 chapters :o Hope, it’s closing on the end in original at least. With a magnitude like that, could have made it into High school – Uni – Career – Pension arcs.

I read a lot of light novels but these are some of the most well edited i have ever read and i think the depth of the cultural explanations are extremely touching. Hiya, thank you very much for translating this. BTW, it looks like a lot of people keep asking whether this is dropped or not. Might I suggest something? Just put the status at the top. Like, “Status: Ongoing” or “Schedule: Irregular Updates (roughly 3-4 per month)” so that people will stop asking.

Hi! I am a big fan of Reika-sama for a few years now; I must have read the raws 4 or 5 times at least, a tendency accentuated when I have deadlines. I refresh the syosetsu page every day and always read the next chapter(today I was lucky, ch 298 as awesome!). The thing is…I am a translator with some experience – I translated on Baka Tsuki 6 novels a few years back but life got in the way. I want to get back to it and Kenkyou is my obsession ATM. I would like to start from 20 or 30 chapters ahead of you. Would you be OK with that or not really?

I honestly love this series :):) I cannot get enough of it!! As far as the pairings go…..it would be really funny if reika stays single for her entire life while all her friends get boyfriends/girlfriends during or after high school. XDXDXD Or she friend-zones the guys unintentionally when they “ask her out”. Or (although impossible) she could always marry her lovable older brother. Hehehehe The power of incest love! Besides if Reika’s brother punches his friend for suggesting reika to marry into his friend’s family, might as well punch all the guys who are attracted to Reika’s weirdness. The mom would be upset and the father would be happy (even if Reika nearly kills/harms him from time to time).

I must say that even if I know the status of the will be ending at chapter 299 and hasn’t been update for quite a while… I am enjoying this story IMMENSLEY!!! All the characters are wonderful and I have read up to the last chapter in 1 1/2 days! Addicted I is! I was seal clapping/laughing over the doll bit which had me in tears. It was hilarious. ANYWAY!! I haven’t been to this site since 2017 when I found out the story went on hiatus. However, I was searching though novel updates and came across this again. I took another look at the author and saw its still on hiatus…
I can’t believe I’ve been waiting for nearly 5 years now for this book to continue, but I guess that shows how good it was to me. Translator thanks so much for your hard work. Your translation is incomparably better than the other translation out there and I hope you one day translate till 299. I wish this story would continue, it’s so clear that there are so many fans both English ones and Japanese. I feel like at this point it’s unlikely the raws will ever continue, but I’m glad that we all got to enjoy 299 chapters of it at least. Stay well everyone. Hopefully the author is ok. You could see that the releases started getting much less frequent towards the final chapters.
