Very important announcement

Guys, the truth is that I’m actually an Japanese person living in Indonesia (lol).

Which is why recently, with the eruption of the volcano in Chile, I’ve really begun to think deeply about what it is that I actually want in life.

And the conclusion that I’ve come to is that I want money. Money motivates me.

Which is why from now on I will no longer be offering my professional native-level Japanese skills for free.

From today onwards, each week I will be offering half a chapter of Otoburi, Other World, Jashin and Tilea each. In total, that’s two free chapters per week. Beyond that, each additional half-chapter will require a 200USD donation. Please mention in the donation the series that your donation is going towards.

Maou quarter-chapters will be charged at 200 Euros each, and I will not be providing any freebies for this series.

If you don’t like it, don’t read it. Don’t be a retard. Donation link can be found on the sidebar.

Regarding ‘Sorry Oniisama’

I was originally going to go for quite a few more chapters, but I’m unsure now. Last night I stayed up to 6AM reading to the latest chapter, and I must say, the early chapters don’t do it any justice.

Basically as the series progresses, it gets more and more serious. And you end up thinking that’s the mood doesn’t change from there, but you’d be wrong.

I’m not sure how to do explain the feel of the series in place of more teaser chapters, but I’ll try going with a few hints. The story continually gets more messed up, and not in a cheap ‘people sacrificing virgins’ type of way where things regarding the setting of the fantasy world are messed up.

Rather it’s the characters. And rightfully so.

Note:

  • The setting in the prologue is very important
  • She’s a girl who’s been bedridden for a long time
  • This book series was basically her life

The reveals in this story are not so much about hidden plots or intrigues, but more about the personalities and motivations of the characters. Starting with the main character, not everybody is as they first appear, and all the reveals are really very reasonable, or rather, even quite probably if you considered this story in reality.

So yeah, the story is dark, but not in a grim dark way. It’s dark because the characters make it dark, and because the world warps so far from the original novel series.

Oniisama 1-1

Wait for me, Oniisama!

First Year.

PASHIN, went the hard sound of the fan closing.
The mana that had been single-heartedly emitted in no particular direction now faded away, without forming a single shape.
The boy who was forcefully awakened from his extreme nervousness, had drawn in a deep breath before he had realised it.
A woman with neatly ordered brown hair, with just a tinge of golden, gazed at the boy with cold eyes.

“Gilford, could it be that you cannot form even a fireball?”

“…I-, ‘m very sorry, esteemed (step)mother.”

The woman gave a deep sigh, as though she were disappointed from the depths of her heart, before placing a hand to her head.
With this, the person you could call the boy’s final stronghold, had finally given up on him.
She had become somebody that would no longer protect him.
He had failed her test after all; the test of she who was the most unopposable authority in this magic clan.
This woman did not have the leisure to pay attention to the incompetent.
Even if this was a given result, it still aches the heart.

―――However.
As I watched this boy’s shoulders shakily rise and fall with trembling breaths, and saw a membrane of tears cover his verdant eyes, despite myself, despite myself, the beating of my heart began to quicken.
The moment that the bishounen with the dull silver hair and green eyes was moved to tears by his failure, and was abandoned by the beautiful blonde woman…
The moment that he hit rock bottom, that marked the most important point for this story about crawling up from the bedrock…
To think the day would come that I would see with my own eyes this picturesque scene. I had never even thought it possible.

The person looking on from the side looked like nothing but the image of a cold-headed stepmother, but she had kindness that allowed her to never give up on him, no matter how many times, how many times he failed a test.
But Okaasama with her weak body is forbidden from straining her heart.
If she continued guiding them even after they failed the test, she would definitely collapse.
While calming this heart of mine that had been trembling with emotion, I cut in between the two of them to take on that duty myself.

“Okaasama. Would it be all right if I took over testing Oniisama?”

Since I’ve gained Okaasama’s permission, and I’ve seen her off…
Now then, with this it’s my turn now.
I abruptly changed my posture, and after gazing at the bishounen with villainous, confident eyes, I let out a fireball the size of my palm into the air.
It wasn’t magic that corresponded to my strength; I deliberately mass produced the beginner class spell that he was desperately practising.
One, two, three――――――――――――ten.
The boy’s eyes were coloured with despair as he gazed at the fire balls surrounding my small body.

“By the rules of our family, I will not forgive a person eternally useless.”

Raising a small arm into the air as the fireballs followed my movements, I turned them towards the boy.
Regardless of the fact that there was a protective film cast over him, touching the balls you would find them appropriately hot, and those fireballs rained down onto the defenceless boy.

“Oniisama, let me teach you the difference between us.”

Even if they’re older than you, or in a higher position than you, the strength of the person takes priority.
Whether you’re brother and sister, father and daughter, master and disciple, it’s the same.
The unconditionally meritocractic Luzil family is super muscle-headed.

Just like in many stories, 【I】 was reincarnated.

In the past, there was once a book that began to have a quiet boom, which bit by bit began to catch on, and just as they were about to conclude the series and people were thinking ‘The anime adaptation is pretty close too!’ …with such exceptional timing, the publisher went bankrupt, and it was postponed.
The name of the series was called ‘The Magician and the Country of Night’.
In the past, I was completely engrossed in it.
A book once a year, and at worst, even a book every three years. This series that would only be released at such a pace was to I, who spent my days in boredom, the only thing I had to look forward to in excitement.

There were many characters that I liked, but amongst them all, I was particularly fond of the protagonist.
He was a 【Strongest Character】 type protagonist that you often find in novels, but because of his mental development as a person in the novels, and because he didn’t boorishly bulldoze through everything with force, he was terribly cool.
Early life, an unfortunate childhood, a door opening to a world he never knew, a journey with his friends, schemes that stood in the way, blessings of a guardian spirit, grief on the battlefield, difficulties, and growth.
Each of these components were spices that made him shine―――the only regrettable thing was that just before his final confrontation, the publishers went bankrupt.

Now then, the world that I was born into was none other than that of ‘The Magician and the Country of Night’.
The truth is that when I was younger, my memories were unstable, so I wasn’t really sure, but once my ego had developed, I properly realised the situation.

Indeed; I realised that in the near future, the protagonist―――the Grand Hydromancer, Gilford, would become my older brother.

Honestly speaking, when I realised this, I was so excited that for days I couldn’t even fall asleep.
I mean, I had been reborn as one of the characters in the book that was my absolute favourite in my past life.
I spent every single day excited, and dived into my studies of magic with enthusiasm.
I showed my mother and father knowledge above my age, and grasped the tenets of magic.
However, once I calmed down a little and thought through one of the memories in my mind, I realised that the road my future brother would be travelling would be filled with difficulties.
Of course, growth comes hand in hand with difficulties, so I had not the slightest intention of negating that.
The worries on the battlefield, the conflicts with the enemy, the discord between friends; all of them were essential to growth, so it wasn’t a big problem.

But. But,
the magician who was the country’s final defence was my oniisama―――this was a problem.
He was unmistakably the protagonist. However, he belonged to the type that matured and showed their talents later.

The Luzil family that Gil-sama and I belong to is a clan of pyromancers.
A clan was directly descended from a great magician who had in the early days of the country, cleared a path through the enemies with their flames, and established clear national borders.
And even now, it was a clan that was a key cornerstone of our country, a clan that overpowered the forces of the opportunistic neighbouring countries that might seek to attack us.
Would there be any noble who wouldn’t be proud of such an important position? No, there wouldn’t be.
As a result, this family of mine that values strength more than anything, is a complete meritocracy.
That’s why my late-bloomer Oniisama had for a long time been treated as something lower than a worm in this house.

Originally when Otousama had suddenly brought back a boy and said ‘This is my kid.’ it was a huge fiasco.
It wasn’t described in the book, but probably seeing that his daughter had such potential, he ecstatically thought ‘Maybe the seeds I sowed earlier are strong as well’.
Gil-sama is a child who’s older than me―――in other words, he was a kid conceived during Otousama’s political engagement with the esteemed Okaasama.
For a long time now they had seemed like a couple in a political marriage that only played the parts of husband and wife, but since Gil-sama was brought back, the relations between the two of them became as terrible as they could get.
It was a relationship with nothing going for it except trust, so it can’t be helped that it came to this though.
Even so, she married into this family that served as the cornerstone to our national defence, so Okaasama resolved herself.
It was good to have even one more able magician serving the country.
That’s why she very properly trained Gil-sama in the magic of the Luzil family.

The result was that Oniisama had absolutely no talent for fire.
The symbol of her husband’s infidelity, a talentless good-for-nothing――――――with such a boy pushed onto her, Okaasama’s pride as a royal princess had already long been torn to shreds.
Had Gil-sama even a little bit of talent in pyromancy then once he grew up he could at least work as a magician to protect the country, even if it was work in support roles, so her husband’s infidelity was tied to supporting the country; it was for this reason that she could bear it.
However, the reality was that even after teaching, and teaching him, he revealed no power whatsoever.
And seeing Okaasama driven into a corner like that, those that sympathised with her, and those that were envious of his position, all verbally abused Gil-sama, so he ended up spending a pitiful ten years like that.
That was what was written in the novel.
It was a family built on meritocracy, so that part of it can’t be helped though.

But, but, no matter how much growth you can gain from suffering, the circumstances really are just too much!
Even though the only one in the wrong is Otousama with his loose lower body, Gil-sama and Okaasama are really too pitiful. I was angry.

Thankfully, 【I】 am Origa Emelda Luzil.
The one known as the strongest villain in that story, the Lady of the Inferno, Origa.
In the book, Origa was such a powerful pyromancer that she was even called the heaven-sent child of pyromancy, and with a severe and flaming personality, she mowed down every person in the clan with her strength, and snatched the position of clan head from Otousama at the young age of sixteen.
And like that, because of that severe meritocracy, various incidents were―――no, that’s not something relevant right this moment though.

Even if I speed things along a little, it’s a predetermined ending, so there shouldn’t be any problem.
This is a story about the growth of the magician Gilford, that heads towards an ending where he saves the nation.
As long as it’s regarding matters outside of the blooming of his abilities, and his reign as the best magician in the country, I believed that I would be able to interfere.

So that’s how it is.
I want to hurry up and refine his talent so that nobody can say a thing about him, and free Gil-sama and Okaasama from the fate that they’re experiencing.
In other words, each day I do nothing but devote myself to playing the villain.

Sorry, Oniisama!
―――It’s just for a little while longer, so hold on, okay?

tl: “esteemed (step)mother”
It’s written ‘giboue/義母上‘ or ‘esteemed step-mother’, but he probably reads it as ‘hahaue’ or ‘esteemed mother’. Well, I’m not entirely sure, so correct me if you think this is a situation where he would actually read it as ‘gibo’, but I don’t think he does.
Ah, for readers with no idea what I’m talking about, in Japanese, usually you would refer to step-parents or in-laws as ‘step/-inlaw’ when you write, but pronounce it as ‘mother’ or ‘father’. But since this is fantasy, I’m not exactly sure how things go.

Prologue

Please, God

..*

―――It hurts.
―――It’s lonely.

Even if I try to press the nurse call button, my vision is narrow, it’s gotten dark, and I don’t even know where it is.
This incredibly painful heart, these lungs that won’t breath; they tell me that I don’t have any time left.
And even though this is something I’ve prepared myself for countless times, my heart is rejecting this end with all its power; I don’t want to die like this.

..*

I lived a life that couldn’t bring joy to a single person.

..*

I became bound to a bed before I entered school, so I don’t have a single friend.
Even the nurses that treated me kindly drew the line of our relationship as a professional one.
I know that even my parents, somewhere in their hearts, thought badly of this weak life of mine that wouldn’t die all this time.
I’m sure that even if I die, everyone will forget me.

These white sheets, this pile of books, the mechanical sounds of this medical equipment; that’s all that exists in this world that surrounds me.
Memories of running about under the sun, were something impossible for me to have.
I’ve never played with somebody with all my might, nor gotten in a fight with anyone.
A memory happy enough that I’ll never forget it; such a thing doesn’t exist even in my mind

Aaah, really, what a sad life.
Being all alone like this, isn’t how I want to die.
For me to die without anyone missing me…
For me to die after living such an empty life…

But, it isn’t as though these feelings won’t take away the pain that my heart feels.
It’s the end.
Even if I call for the nurses, I’ll die.
In that case…

I reach out my trembling hand, to the book on the table beside me.
I might not be able to reach it.
I might not be able to hold it.
But, at the very least,
even if this life of mine doesn’t leave anything behind, at the very end, I want to die feeling happy.
I want to touch this beloved, adored, dream-like, hope-filled book of mine.

..*

Aaah.
If I can be born again, this time, I want to live like him.

..*

My stretched out hand, dropped to the white sheets, empty.

To Yorai-kun, and all the other translators for Word Master.

You guys, its been really hard to keep up with all these blogs posting Word Master, and its even harder when 1 of those blogs lags behind.

So here’s an advice. If you’re working with more than 2 Translators, why not set-up a Google Drive for all of it?

All the raws are in seperate documents == chapters… and then add all the translator’s Gmails in.

So when someone lags behind, you can see their progress and other translators can help out.

What’s the plus side on this?

  • You can see everyone’s progress (assuming you gave everyone chapter access)
  • EVerything can be uniform, so you all follow one fucking format and not… NAME : RAWR and then “SPEECH” (Name) … seriously, wtf?
  • A chat/message system in case 2 or more translators are actively translating/editing/proofreading.
  • A Comment System for anything wrong or discussions about how to translate certain phrases.
  • Private Settings so nobody else can see your work.
  • 2 Main Modes of Editing, 1 is FULL EDITS and 2 is SUGGESTIVE EDITS. Suggestive edits appear as boxes on the side of the word.
  • It basically looks like Word, but its online, everyone can work on it… like seriously.
  • A FUCKING TERMINOLOGIES PAGE SO WE DONT GET SHIT LIKE CAMUS on ONE BLOG and KAMUI ON THE OTHER!

The downsides… i do not see so much, outside of maybe a medium requirement on RAM. It doesnt take that much bandwidth too.

But yeah, as a fellow translator, at least do something about your inconsistent releases…. I know you all have other novels to translate, but please at least keep it in process and not jumping chapters in releases. Google Drive will help you with that.

If you’ve got questions about GDrive and its operations… well why not visit us on our IRC channel and we can talk about it.

I may have left a few grammar mistakes in here… I was hurrying to type it out. :x

I Ended up Reincarnating as a Villainess Noble Girl with Nothing but Destruction Flags…

Hit on the head with a rock, the memories of my previous life returned to me. I, Caterina Claes, am the daughter of the duke, and 8 years old.
Having feverish nightmares, my engagement to the prince was decided, and I realised that this was the otome game I played in my previous life.
And I also realised that I had become the villainess noble girl that got in the way of the protagonists’ romance…
If the protagonist meets her happy end, I’ll be exiled with no belongings, and if she meets the bad end, I’ll be killed by the love interest…?
…Don’t I get a happy end!? Uh, there’s nothing but bad endings here, you know!?
I want to avoid those destruction ends and live a quiet life until I’m old!

[tl: Premise is quite similar to kenkyo, but according to reviews it’s done quite well, and the characters are all interesting. Also unlike Kenkyo, it seems that this protagonist isn’t a complete loser when it comes to romance. Poor Reika. >: Really.]

I Reincarnated as a Villainess, but Why Did Things Turn out Like This?

Eliza Kardia who reincarnated as the villainess noble girl in a fantasy otome game, despite being a noble’s daughter, experienced a childhood far from what you’d expect of the world of a ren’ai game. To begin with, it was doubtful whether or not she would even survive long enough to enter the school that was the setting of the game. Because of the changes in circumstances in a neighbouring nation that didn’t even appear in the game, so different that it seemed to have no relation to that flowery school life that was featured in said game, Eliza had no choice up but to pick up arms to defend herself. Just why on earth did things turn out like this?

She has no OP abilities. She can’t use magic either. Her sense of morals may have gone a little funny because of her rebirth.

Parallel World Strong-Armed Drifter’s Story ~Otome Games Have Declined

A low girl-power working Japanese woman (unpopular) had of all things been reincarnated in the world of an otome game; and of all people, as the villainess who always found a way of picking on the heroine.
It was the world of a school story with swords, magic and love… or so you’d think, but of course she had ‘no fucken idea’ about any of that. In regards to the contents of the game either.
Interpreting it being the same type as the VRMMO’s in her past life, this blood boiling, flesh dancing, bone grating, boisterous sword storm battle-loving battle-idiot with low girl power pushed her way through――――and aimed to be the strongest in the world!

After reincarnating in the novel I loved, I run left and right to save my beloved character from peril!

Mizukami Sakura, twenty years old. Today I tripped into another world! But where I ended up was on top of a bed, with nothing but my bath towel on, and the owner of the room, Captain Grace, had a good time ‘eating’ me up. But well, he’s a hot guy who’s exactly my type, so I’ll allow it. Or rather, how about one more round?

My beloved oniisamas are going to be the key members of the reverse harem you say? What kind of joke is this? Of course I’m going to get in the way!

Siscon Feudal Lord Reincarnation! ~If I’m Reincarnated with a Little Sister, I’ll Spoil Her Through and Through

Elxiac, a reincarnater born as the son of a feudal lord. He had an adorable half-sister, born to an elven mother.
And he who seemed like a calm and collected person upon first glance was actually――an outrageous siscon!
For the sake of his younger sister, he reforms the territory, and endeavours to eliminate discrimination. And for the sake of taking photos of her, he creates camera magic.
This is the story of a little sister and the slightly regrettable oniichan who works for her sake.
With El the siscon brother, Yuin the elven sister, and the sharp-tongued maid Mizette, what kind of reincarnated life will he experience!?

Status Report

  • Evil God Average is confirmed to finish at 52 chapters (the end of the second book/arc/chapter) so I’ll be translating it to the end.
  • Tilea’s Worries was mentioned a few months ago to be getting a light novel adaptation.
  • I just spent the last 3 days reading Tilea’s Worries, which is why I haven’t gotten anything done.
  • The first arc of Tilea’s Worries is all laughs, second is not all that funny, third is mostly… interesting but not funny, with the exception of a few scenes.
  • Evil God Average maintains the same magnitude and style of humour all throughout the series in my opinion.
  • Some machine translator group has told me that they’re going to translate Maou, and I haven’t decided what I want to do in response yet. In the end I’ll probably just be cherry picking, and translating whatever the hell I want.
  • I might do Otoburi right after some new teasers, since I really want to hurry up and get to the marriage thingy.

Tilea’s Worries – Chapter 11

Chapter 11 – “Iron Wall Nielsen has humbly come.”

“Huhu, I have Tilea-sama’s confidence.”

No good, no good. As the captain of the household guard, I cannot relax. I accidentally broke into a smile, but I restrained myself.

But still, what a magnanimous personage Tilea-sama is!

That day I misunderstood her to be slighting Camilla-sama and turned my fists towards Tilea-sama. It was an outrageous thing to do.

Not only did Tilea-sama not punish a fool such as myself, but she even allowed me to serve her. And probably because she had quite some interest in me, she was kind enough to ask about me, from my birth to my military history. I ended up proudly recounting my military exploits despite myself. A truly embarassing thing to have done.

Tilea-sama is the esteemed elder sister of Camilla-sama, and the host to fearsome power. And I am able to serve such a person. As a warrior, there is no greater joy. Indeed; I am Tilea-sama’s sword, and shield, her faithful servant, a dog.

I recalled Tilea-sama’s words from earlier. She ordered me to ignore herself and Camilla-sama, and instead do my job; in other words, Tilea-sama ordered “We don’t need bodyguards, so so all of you, carry out your duties.”. We of the household guard do more than just protect our lady. Our duties include annihilating the enemy as well.

Huhu, as expected of Tilea-sama. Rather than defence, she seems to prefer offence.

Tilea-sama, please leave it to me. I will show you the indiscriminate annihilation of all who threaten your path to domination!

While trembling at the thought of Tilea-sama’s order, I headed to the plains where the members of our unit were waiting.

After a few hours, I arrived at the plains they were stationed at, north of Beruga town. Five hundred members of our household guard were orderly waiting on standby.

“Everyone, you have waited.”

“My, it’s Captain Nielsen. We have been humbly waiting.”

“Everyone, Captain Nielsen has returned.”

The orderly soldiers upon noticing my return began to grow noisy. Everyone is excitedly and impatiently awaiting their orders.

And that is understandable. We of the household guard are warriors; and after reviving after thousands of years, we can finally fight.

To convey Tilea-sama’s orders, I look over the soldiers.

That day, when I told them that we would be betraying the Demon King Army, as expected, discomposure spread through our unit. Demon King Zorg is a special existence to we demons after all.
However, when I told them that it was Camilla-sama’s orders, the unrest immediately stopped. We of the household guard are chosen elites that swear absolute allegiance to Camilla-sama. If Camilla-sama so orders, whether they be a god or a demon king, we have the mettle to defeat them. That’s why it was impossible for there to be any discontent to begin with.

As expected of the household guard that I am so proud of!

And then, I told them about Camilla-sama’s esteemed elder sister, Tilea-sama. Tilea-sama was the reincarnation of the Evil God Dark Matter, and was the possessor of unfathomable power. And I passionately told them that she was the master that our master Camilla-sama had offered her body and heart to serve.

Indeed; Tilea-sama is the master of our master. A lofty, yet grand being. We are being permitted to serve such a grand personage. Naturally, all members of our unit trembled, moved.

Very shortly I will be telling them Tilea-sama’s words, and there is no mistaking that they will be even more moved than they were on that day. I stepped forward before the soldiers on standby to convey Tilea-sama’s words.

“I will now be reporting Tilea-sama’s words!”

“”Understood-!””

All members dropped to a knee, and lowered their heads. They had all moved together without missing a beat.

“Tilea-sama’s words were 『Accomplish your duties』. Henceforth, we, formerly known as the Demon King Army, will now begin mobilising as the Evil God Army Household Guard Unit.”

“”Understood-!””

From now on, working towards obtaining information on the Demon King Army is our foremost priority. As the Evil God Army, the Demon King Army will be our greatest enemy. We must pay utmost attention to their movements.

Being the case…

“Belnandes, begin searching the area within a twenty kilometre radius of Beruga town. If you find the spies of the Demon King Army, or anything else of suspicion, report to me at any time.”

“By your will.”

Belnandes quietly answered. Belnandes Bo Macdo. He serves as the Camilla Unit’s intelligence operative. In every battlefield he performs duties as a spy, and in setting up the logistics. In tasks behind the scenes, there are none greater than him. Enough that they say that, in the shadow of Camilla-sama’s victories, lies Belnandes. If it is Belnandes, then I suspect we will be able to promptly acquire information about the Demon King Army, and deal with it.

The information we need next is on the military strength of the human side. I will decide on the unit that will infiltrate the royal capital. When it comes to infiltration, Belnandes would be suitable, but he will have his hands full in dealing with the Demon King Army.

In that case…

“Ortissio, pick thirty troops and hide in the royal capital of the Kingdom of Arkudas, and gather information. In particular, I want to know the war potential of the humans of this era.”

“Understood-! After selecting some men, I will head to the royal capital.”

Ortissio replied with an enthusiastic voice. Ortissio Bo Bach. In the Camille Unit, he is the most talented after Mühen. He has a quick tempered side to him, but he holds enough power to compensate for that. Besides Belnandes, there is no great difference in the information gathering skills of the others. At present when we know nothing of the human’s military strength, it will be fine to leave it to Ortissio, who is suited for fighting, even amongst our men.

For now, I will entrust the information gathering of the Demon King Army and human strength to them. Next, I must think about Magic Beast Gargan’s management. When it comes to magic beasts, there is probably only him.

“Muram, I leave the control of Magic Beast Gargan to you. Additionally, until Ortissio’s information arrives, I do not want the humans to notice the existence of Gargan. Erase all eyewitnesses.”

“Understood-! As you command.”

Muram replied, in his own zone. Muram Bo Fischer. The foremost summoner of the Camilla Unit. In the great war of old, using hundreds of magic beasts, enemy soldiers were devoured to death. If it is he who understands the language of the magic beasts, then we will be able to smoothly deal with Gargan’s concealment and management.

Finally, what’s left to be concerned about is revenge from the Demon King Army. The vanguard of the enemy will likely be one of the Six Demon Generals, Kira. If it’s Kira who detests Camilla-sama like poison, they would probably gleefully attack us. We’re leaving the spies to Belnandes, so it will work out somehow. We’ll immediately be able to catch hold of the timing of their attack. Also, to ambush the Kira Unit…

“Mühen, lead a unit and attack the Demon King Army’s Kira Unit, and while absorbing their power, engage in guerilla warfare.”

“Understood.”

Mühen replied in a calm voice. Mühen Bo Eret. The finest swordsman of the Camilla Unit, and my right-hand man. Mühen has been the cornerstone of support for our unit in numerous battles. There is nobody but him who can hold back one of the Six Demon Generals. Even if we leave Kira himself to Tilea-sama or Camilla-sama, we need a commander to hold back the Kira Unit if they attack. I will be coordinating this as a whole, so I’ll leave the finer details to Mühen.

“Mühen, our army is of small number. I think I will be forcing you into a difficult battle.”

“Captain, was the Retreat at Velaad not different to this? Please leave it to me.”

The Retreat at Velaad…

Our army was under pursuit by forces numbering ten times our own. Against those enemy soldiers who kept gushing forth no matter how many we killed, just how many times had we prepared ourselves for death? Even in that situation, Mühen continued to calmly support the unit, managed a retreat to Demon Capital Benz unharmed, and accomplished a miraculous result. He is the same as always, isn’t he. Mühen is giving the same smile he did at that time. Even in a disadvantageous battle, he loses not even a little fighting spirit; he is a true warrior.

“Phew, it was a needless worry, wasn’t it. If it’s you, you’ll do just fine. I’m counting on you.”

“Understood. I’ll let that Kira guy savour the taste of boiling water. Just watch.”

Everyone is full of morale. All the soldiers are dazzlingly overflowing with fighting spirit.

I took a breath.

“Henceforth, the Evil God Army commences its trampling of enemies!”

“”Understood-! For the sake of the Grand Tilea-sama, and our beloved and respected Camilla-sama, my lady!””

Oh yeah, forgot to mention

I should’ve put this in the Bleck Knight post just because, but apparently my plan of saying ‘Evil God is a teaser, stop asking about it.’ while secretly translating it didn’t work, because people still asked questions that I should have already answered.

Maybe because they can’t read, or because they couldn’t accept the answer, idunno, but point is they kept asking.

So I’ll make it really clear:

I’m going to continue translating it. I make no promises about translating to the end. Actually, I don’t even feel obliged to translate it to the end. If it stops at the second book, then that’ s great. If not, then if/when it becomes boring or annoying or I run out of time or I just don’t like it anymore, I will stop translating.

Additionally, I don’t want anybody asking me when the next chapter is. I mean, I’m fine with you asking for the other projects, but not for this please.

Finally, because I’m obviously not committed to this, I have absolutely 0 problems with anybody picking up from my current chapter. At all. Although it is a comedy, so please be a real translator. It isn’t a mindless harem adventure story, so I really don’t think it can be MTL’d at even 30% of ‘doing it justice’.
