Hi guys! Looking for experienced cleaners or type-setters to help with the Tashinami scanlations.

Hans Axel von Fersen (4 September 1755 – 20 June 1810) was a Swedish count, Marshal of the Realm of Sweden, a General of Horse in the Royal Swedish Army, one of the Lords of the Realm, aide-de-camp to Rochambeau in the American Revolutionary War, diplomat and statesman, and a friend of Queen Marie-Antoinette of France. He died at the hands of a Stockholm lynch mob.

Charles-Henri Sanson, full title Chevalier Charles-Henri Sanson de Longval (15 February 1739 – 4 July 1806) was the royal executioner of France during the reign of King Louis XVI, and High Executioner of the First French Republic. He administered capital punishment in the city of Paris for over forty years, and by his own hand executed nearly 3,000 people, including the King himself.

Louis Antoine Léon de Saint-Just (25 August 1767 – 28 July 1794) was a military and political leader during the French Revolution. He spearheaded the movement to execute King Louis XVI and later drafted the radical French Constitution of 1793. He became a close friend of Maximilien Robespierre, and served with him as one of the commissioners of the powerful Committee of Public Safety.

Maximilien François Marie Isidore de Robespierre (6 May 1758 – 28 July 1794) was a French lawyer and politician. He is perhaps best known for his role in the French Revolution’s Reign of Terror, a period during the French Revolution characterised by mass executions.

Anyhow, what I took away from that last party was that there were no signs of our family being destroyed at this point.

Everyone from our company screamed ‘Elite!’ and ‘Capable!’. Not only were they all quite accomplished at work, but their expressions seemed positive too.

Thanks to my constant reminders Otousama wasn’t doing anything dishonest, and best of all Oniisama was working there!

I could count on Oniisama to stop Otousama from trying to commit fraud or attempt any hostile takeovers.

And we had the secretary Sasajima-san too.

Okaasama might have been quite a spender, but it wasn’t so much that our family was in danger, and I liked to think that I was spending modestly too.

As for our destroyers from the manga, while we weren’t particularly close to the Kaburagi family, neither were we on bad terms. At the very least they didn’t have a reason to destroy us. Probably.

At this rate I didn’t think I’d end up needing to go to another university. Zui’ran University probably wouldn’t be a problem. Because geez, if it wasn’t for the school fees I reaaally wanted to go to Zui’ran.

I was humming thoughtfully to myself with a pillow in hand as I sat in the living room after my dinner and bath.

Oniisama came back from work and asked what I was doing.

“Hmmm, I suppose I am wondering about what I want to do in the future.”

“Future? You weren’t planning on going to Zui’ran university?”

“Well that would be ideal but…”

Oniisama slackened his tie as he took a seat next to me.

“Then what’s the problem? Are the grade requirements for your major too high?”

“No, I am not even sure what faculty I want to enter yet. I suppose I was just kind of wondering about the school fees?”

“School fees?”

Oniisama looked at me strangely. Well, of course he did. Why would a daughter of the Kisshouin family have to worry about paying her school fees.

“For example, if our family suddenly became bankrupt… I was wondering if I could afford them in that case…”

“Bankrupt? You always have the most negative daydreams, don’t you, Reika. You’ve been like this since you were a kid. Is there some reason, or?”

“Not exactly…”

I couldn’t exactly say ‘I read a manga in my last life, Oniisama’. He’d think I was mental.

I sat in silence as Oniisama sighed, placing a hand on my head.

“You know, Reika, I don’t know why you’re so worried about that, but both our company and our family are doing just fine. And even if something did happen to our family, I at least have enough money to pay for one sister’s tuition fees. If you have a university you want to go to, then just go. Alright?”

His reassuring smile cleared away my worries. Of course! I had Oniisama, didn’t I. Of course everything was going to be alright. I wasn’t alone.

“You should rely on your family more, Reika.”

Yeah. Thank you.

This morning Kaburagi visited Wakaba-chan’s class, as was the norm.

Although Wakaba-chan referred to him as ‘Kaburagi-sama’ now, when speaking to him directly she used ‘Kaburagi-kun’ as he instructed.

Even though he basically forced her into it, people were still unhappy about it.

In the salon the President was coldly listening to her daily report on Takamichi Wakaba.

The use of ‘Kaburagi-kun’ by an ordinary student like Wakaba-chan was outrageous to her group.

A number of the Zui’ran supremacists had already warned her to ‘know her place’ but since she told them that it was at Kaburagi’s instruction, none of them could escalate further.

Which of course just worsened their ire of her.

The President’s group were gathered in their corner, as usual, whispering about something or other.

*

*

Since I had tests to study for I left the salon early today and made my way to the car park. On the way I happened to meet Kaburagi.

“Gokigen’yoh, Kaburagi-sama. Are you leaving for the day?”

“Yeah.”

I bet he was secretly studying away to keep his ranking.

“Thank you finding the time to come to our humble party, the other night.”

“No, thanks for inviting me. I had fun.”

Whoa! Of all people, Kaburagi was being polite to me!

Kaburagi suddenly glanced into the distance. At the end of his gaze was who seemed to be Wakaba-chan.
He stood there watching until the figure left.

“Kaburagi-sama…”

“Hm?” he continued staring in that direction.

“Were you aware that a great many people are jealous because of all the attention you pay to Takamichi-san?”

“Eh?”

He turned to face me but I bade him farewell and got into my car.

*

*

I somehow managed to finish the end-of-term tests. They were always hard because of how much more content you had to study for than the mid-terms.

I didn’t have much in the way of memory storage, so whenever I remembered something new it just pushed out what I studied earlier. Wasn’t there some way of fixing this?

During the test there was something related to the test written on Wakaba-chan’s desk. Thankfully she realised and notified the teacher beforehand.

If she hadn’t she might have been accused of cheating.

I hoped the scare didn’t affect her performance…

My Vice President at the Handicrafts Club came to my class.

“Um, Reika-sama. Club Activities will be recommencing today. Will you be attending?”

I was super happy that she was here to invite me, but I already had that planned for today.

“I am sorry. Today I must head to the Pivoine salon no matter what. If I can find the time afterwards, I would certainly like to head to the club, but…”

The President of the Pivoine had asked me to come to the salon after the term-end exams. I didn’t want to be… I had a bad feeling about this…

“I see. Well, we’ve all just finished our exams, so I don’t think many people will be coming today anyhow. Please don’t push yourself and just head home.”

“I see. Thank you.”

If I had my way then I’d be heading to the Handicrafts Club too. It was getting cold, so I was thinking about knitting myself a haramaki belly warmer for winter.

But I couldn’t exactly refuse the invitation of the President of all people.

I trudged my way there with a heavy heart, and when I arrived at the salon I was met by the smiles of the President and her friends.

“Sorry for calling you here so soon after your exams, Reika-sama.”

“No, please do not be. Was there something you wished to speak about?”

“Yes, we did. Right, everybody?”

Everyone nodded.

“The truth is that we would like you to be the next President of the Pivoine.”

“Eh!? Me!?”

Me!? That’s impossible!

To begin with, why me!? The President needed the power to control these people!

How on earth could I even go about controlling the likes of Enjou and Kaburagi. Particularly Kaburagi!

If there was somebody who continually undermined the words of the leader, pretty soon everybody would follow.

And if the non-members saw that nobody was listening to me they’d think of me as an easy mark as well. And then at the end they’d stage a revolution! Oh no, I’d be headed for the guillotine…

If I was the Rococo Queen then that made Fellow Stalking Horse Robespierre!

Eh!? Then did that make Wakaba-chan Saint-Just!?

Nooooooooooooooo! Save meee, Ferseeeen!

“Reika-sama?”

Whoa! Talk about losing a grip on reality!

“I am unsure that I am suited for…”

“Everything will be fine! We will persuade younger members to see things our way. The Pivoine won’t lose to the likes of the Student Council!”

No, no, I don’t want to fight it out with the Student Council at all. Don’t tell me she was going to turn me into a puppet President and control the Pivoine after graduation?

“Please, Reika-sama, for the good of the Pivoine.”

Impossible… I couldn’t see any future in it except for isolation. Sanson the Executioner was already beckoning for me…

Oh dear, I think my hair was going to turn white from the stress…

‘Since the exams are done, wanna come over and hang?’ came the message from Aoi-chan.

I super do!

You’re the only one I can voice my complaints to, Aoi-chaaan~!

    2. … Having Kaburagi, the face of Suiran and the Pivoine leading is one thing, and can be considered natural. He is the Emperor after all… but having the Goddess Kali on the Peony Throne is the same as allowing the Demon King free reign… I can’t see a situation where the Student Council members will dare to rise against the Goddess Kali. Even FSH would bow to her…

      1. That would make our dear Horse the Hero? The idiot would be the idiot God that ‘s is actually at fault, and Wakaba-chan would be… the merchant, I guess?

        1. FSH is the Hero in a shounen manga, preparing to battle with the final bosses of the Demon Kingdom (Pivoine)…

, Enjou Shuusuke, has highly destructive Social power and his Diplomacy is very high. If one does not tread carefully with the Minister, he can end your social life in a snap of his finger. He is the only boss one cannot fight physically, and none have ever seen the Minister angered and lived to tell the tale.

, Kaburagi Masaya, is the King of Pivoine and Emperor of Suiran IV. His Command and Tyranny skills can unleash legions of high-class demons upon your team if you aggravate his Irritation or Anger. Prepare for an all-out-duel when he enters Berserk mode, only seen when his Treasure is threatened to be taken from him!

Fights with the Emperor will always include the Minister appearing as his Support.

, Kisshouin Reika, is the be-all-end-all, strongest and final female boss of Suiran IV, worshipped by both the male and female, Internal and External, populace of planet Suiran IV. Her Destruction power and her countless Weapons and Allies make her an almost unbeatable opponent.

The Goddess has the skill of Summoning the Sacred Branch of Peony, and, the most feared of all, The Empress’s Fan.

The Goddess also has the ability to turn former allies against you, using her allies; the Imperial Chamberlain and the Mercenary, and her Entourage and High Queen Ririna take hostages and increase the Goddess’s Terror X Aura by ten fold.

Fighting with the Goddess will definitely result in the following helping her:
          -Kisshouin Fan club
          -Faculty of Suiran IV
-The Petite Infantry, led by Risen Demon Yukino and Fox Mao-chan.
          -Demon Queen Sakurako
          -StuCo and External Spy
          -The High Queen’s Entourage
          -The Goddess’s Entourage

<note: Using and against the Goddess will result in high Aggro from all Goddess Allies and mark you as the Goddess’s enemy, making it difficult to recruit allies. Random Chance of the Minister appearing to fix the Goddess’s Rep and also the party.>

<If one goes too far using on the Goddess before the battle, it will result in having to batte one’s way through all Goddess Allies and an incredibly High Aggro High Queen, Goddess’s Entourage, the Minister, and the Emperor>

    1. Your wrong, she’s not suppose to bring the fan to school anymore. She’ll use the Peony Flower to rule the school as that was far more terrifying then the fan ever was.

      Liked by 20 people

      1. Eh… The stalking horse already confiscated her peony flower right?? Guess Reika has to find some other stuff to use.. Ruler perhaps or some other kind of sticks?? Bet there will be an increase of [Maso Buta] in that school.. Ha..ha..ha..

        Liked by 5 people

    2. Reika-chan’s folding fan and peony flower are already banned. So she when she ascend to the throne, she’ll turn into weapon itself. Her presence is enough subdue anyone she want.

The title [President Reika] will multiply Reika’s dreadfulness based on the number of members of the Pivoine that supports her. Though it is the most powerful title inside Suiran, it doesn’t work to people bearing the family name [Kaburagi] and name [Enjou].

      1. While you can’t actually get Influence points from Enjou, once your Influence is high enough by other means, you can recruit him as an adviser.

He has the effect of periodically reducing school Unhappiness because of his Diplomat perk and he also gives a +100 attack power to all uses of Folding Fan and Peony Branch weapons AND he reduces their cooldowns. He’s pretty useful.

If you get his Affection points high enough (hint: hang out with Yukino), the Influence required to get him on your side becomes substantially cheaper.

Now this sounds overpowered, but he comes at a cost of a lot of Stress accumulation and he generates random events can really screw up a good playthrough just because of RNG. So he’s pretty balanced overall. You kind of just have to use your own judgement to decide whether he’s worth it in the end. He’s a high risk, high reward character.

        Liked by 12 people

          1. It’s more that Enjou has balanced drawbacks for immense power. He favors very aggressive and quick playthroughs where you lock into an ending, so as to minimize the chance of bad random events.

Kaburagi is mostly useful as an efficient trainer. He’s the best way to keep Reika’s Weight down while building up her Stamina. A lot of players don’t realize that Stamina allows Reika to cope with higher Stress, meaning that she can go longer stints without breaks or stress eating. So he’s doubly efficient in that he keeps her weight down and minimizes her eating.

            Liked by 4 people

            1. I suggest for a correction or additions here:
A lot of players don’t realize that Stamina allows Reika to cope with higher Stress, meaning that she can go longer stints without breaks or stress eating

              —>

…meaning she can go longer stints without breaks or stress eating. Furthermore, Stamina allows Reika a higher capacity of potion (re: food) consumption with less TOX level, and upon Combat stages, higher level of Stamina would allow her to summon Binge Eater AOE technique (a special skill akin to a priest’s Ultimate Heal)!

  1. Thanks for the new chapter! If Reika put her mind to it, she could rule most of Pivoine easily (minus Enjou and Kaburagi). New fearsome weapon for students to fear since she’s not allowed to bring a fan to school. XD

    1. Who can tell the difference? Kaburagi is downright friendly to Reika these days — at least by his standards.

Enjou was never what you call a problem child, that perception exists entirely in Reika’s head. Although it’s understandable that she mistrusts him, he’s much to diplomatic to openly undermine any President’s authority.

    1. “don’t give her ideas!” screamed the whole student population.
In any case, I think the ban came from the StuCo, so unless she intends to go against them it stands.

      Liked by 3 people

  3. Reika is scared of the wrong thing. No one expects you to control Kaburagi or Enjou. The weird Emperor and his super cool & scary Minister are uncontrollable.

What you should be scared of, is the Pivoines finding out that you are good friends with Wakaba. Imagine the drama that would happen if the Pivoine members realised that, after Reika becomes President. It would turn into a World War, with Reika and her Merry Friends on one side, and the Suiren Supremacists on the other…

After lots of bloodshed and tears, Kaburagi would get tired of the drama, step in and blow away the Supremacists. How DARE they waste the time Reika should be using to make the Zodiac animals?

    1. Actually, I feel like the bullying of Wakaba might decrease if that happened (at least on the surface). Remember that despite Reika being…well, Reika…most of the people in the school view her on the same level as Kaburagi and Enjou. If the 3 ‘most powerful/popular’ kids in school approved of someone, nobody would dare to bully that person (at least while in view of said people).

That said, the ‘covert bullying’ would probably get worse.

  4. Rei-chan… actually couldn’t the Reika-sama version of Rei-chan bring about a revolution by promoting good relationships between all students? Rei-chan doesn’t notice but her opinion*is* highly valued. Rei-chan is, after all, popular, modest, and Ladylike, in public. She’s quite the ideal Ojousama, in public. We know what she’s really like but to Suiran Reika-sama is an idol.

  5. That last section! Is it wrong that I’m still pushing hard in my heart for a Reika/Wakaba endgame? She’s never that excited to see her other potential LIs. That’s true love (and love of cake), haha.

    Thanks for the chapter!

      1. Even if someone else ended up with Reika, they have to share her due to cakes.
Well, there’s always the chance that she decides to just live in the village.

        Liked by 1 person

    1. Reika is grinding all the wrong stats on to unlock the Wakaba ending on this playthrough.

She’s over-relying on food to reduce Stress, then trying to exercise to keep her Weight back down to keep up her Appearance stat. She’s also inefficiently cramming for Knowledge, which is the worst method to use towards the endgame. It’s okay at the beginning but there are better options later.

As a result, she’s neglected the necessary Flirt and Knowledge requirements to raise any further flags with Wakaba.

      Liked by 5 people

      1. Considering how mixed her stats are she probably doesn’t have high enough values to trigger any end game flags. We’ll just have to see if the Wakaba route is the default route or if there’s a bad end (forever alone village)

      2. She has gap moe going for her, plus she’s been one of Wakaba’s defenders against the bullying. She’s a knight in Rococo armor!

  12. That dense bakaburagi, all he does is cause trouble for Wakaba chan, Im feeling bad for her, shes already a target of bullying without his baggage to add to her hefty weight, why is he so blind and stupid? so what if he gets top marks and is quick to evaluate the most moronic things, he is completely clueless regarding commonsense social interactions, hes worse than a bull in a china shop at least theyre insured, but what does Wakaba chan have? poor wonderful Reika who is getting old before her time. Now shes caught in yet another snare, shes like a deer in headlights ready to be bowled over! run Reika Flee!!

This is a Bakaburagi pov, because I really wanna give it to him, but I lack the skill :(

What the heck did she say he thought in confusion? because of me? how? What exactly is she implying by that! whats her number again! I need to talk to her, what gives! Thanks to that little comment I spent agonizing hours trying to understand what she meant by that. I decided to consult Shuuske.
“Hi Masaya, whats up?” so relaxed and casual as always, this guy has always been this way, never tense, never worried, never stressed, he moved about with the same kind of ease his expression showed, but there was more to him than that, I was aware of it, but payed it no mind.
    “I need your advice”
“Oh? about?” Shuuskes eye brow raised.
“Kisshouin, she said something to me thats irritated me all day, I want your thoughts on its meaning” Looking at his friend he saw his eyes sharpen for some reason, as though looking like a predator, what the heck was that!
“I didnt realise you were on such friendly terms with her to have such lengthy conversations” the smile on that face was totally fake, I felt an unpleasant sensation crawl down my spine.
“It wasnt long, she more or less said it in passing” I sat down crossing my legs. “She said that my attentiveness for Wakaba was causing jealousy, isnt that ridiculous? so annoying! what does she mean by that exactly!”
Shuuske gave me a pained expression, and simply nodded without answering my damn question! now Im even more annoyed! thanks to that I didnt get any sleep last night!

You deserve worse you scum dumbass! that was a lengthy pov, apologies.

      1. Let’s do it in Enjou POV for fun too!

I smiled at Masaya as he appeared, looking irritated and restless. Goodness, what had gotten him so worked up now?

        “Hello, Masaya. What’s wrong?”

“I need to consult you about something.”

“Oh? About what?” I raised an eyebrow at his words. Is it the sports festival? I’ll say it again if I have to, I will not help you turn our schoolmates into your champions for the cavalry battle. I’ve had enough of watching your perfectionism on exam week, I don’t need to see it during the festival.

“Kisshouin. She said something to me earlier and its been bothering me all day, so I want your thoughts on it.”

I kept smiling at Masaya as my mood dropped. Oh? Since when were you two so close? “Oh, I didn’t know the two of you had gotten so close that you partake in such lengthy conversations with her..” I saw Masaya shiver. Hm, does he sense my bad mood? It would be better if he did.

“It wasn’t lengthy at all. She just said it in passing!” Masaya defended himself as he sat down. An irritated expression soon crossed his face as he spoke, “She said that my attentiveness to Takamichi is causing jealousy- Isn’t that ridiculous? So annoying! What exactly does Kisshouin mean by that!”

I look at him helplessly as I gave a pained smile and nodded. Masaya, how dense can you get?

“Hey, help me figure it out!”

“Masaya, perhaps it would be better if you reflect about it by yourself. Why are you agonizing yourself over this anyways?”

“I’ve tried and I failed, so thats why I’m consulting you! And its because this concerns Takamichi!” Masaya paused and a look of suspicion crossed his face. “Do you think…”

I sighed looking at him. “Do I think what?”

“Do you think Kisshouin is jealous and thats why she told me this?”

I looked over at Masaya who seemed to be utterly confused, and I felt a cold smile appear on my face, “I’m sure Kisshouin-san does not feel anything particular towards your love life. She is the leader of the girls here, so perhaps she is trying to tell you to control your fans again? Be careful, Masaya. If you do it poorly and end up causing more trouble, Kisshouin-san might come and tear you down again.” I smiled as I recalled the first time Kisshouin lost herself to rage and tear into Masaya. As his friend, I shouldn’t have found it as entertaining as I did, but it was a spectacular show. Unfortunately, in order to calm things down, I had to smooth things over with Kisshouin and recieved a punch in the gut for my efforts.

I rubbed my stomach as I felt phantom pains from remembering that incident. Masaya gave me a look of fear and apprehension as he recalled the incident. Yeah, I get it. You remembered why she is called the Goddess Kali, didn’t you?

“Masaya, good luck. Try not to anger Kisshouin-san too much.” I smiled as I left the salon. Hmph. Don’t let your ego inflate so much, Kisshouin likes older (mature) men, the complete opposite of you! Don’t make me find a needle to deflate that ego of yours!

  14. Oniisama is back to confort Reika. Gosh do I love these sinblings.

“During the test there was something related to the test written on Wakaba-chan’s desk. Thankfully she realised and notified the teacher beforehand.”
That’s just awfull. To think they would go as far as frame her as a cheater, I wasn’t expecting it, to be honest. These people really don’t understand how important grades are to students like Wakaba.

    Thanks for the meal–ahem, chapter!

  15. If I were an Enjou X Reika fan, the translator of Yandere Otome being on the same ship would not be reassuring.

Actually, I see the main story for that is completed. The school arc kinda dragged while at the same time was rushed qnd confusing so I ended up dropping it.

  16. I become ever more convinced that the one actually doing questionable things with money is actually onii-sama…
    /is killed by onii-sama fan army/
    P.S.: Reika X Wakaba, Kaburagi X Tonsure, Enjou X Imari-sama!
I have found the perfect pairings 👌

  17. The moment with onii-sama was so heartwarming~

Lol, does Reika-chan still think she has no power? I think by this time most of the students are already afraid of her. Especially after the soccer club event.😂😂

  18. “Anyhow, what I took away from that last party was that there were no signs of our family being destroyed at this point.”
Is this a flag? At this point, I’m having trouble identifying/differentiating flags and red herrings and delusions(on my part)

Now Reika-sama being the next President of the Pivoine is one more spice added to the story~! Woohoo~!!!
Now I’m wondering how Reika-sama will fare on this trial! XD!

  20. Thx for the chapter o/
I am not sure if telling that to BAKAburagi was a good idea Reika-sama, plz do not cry after…
also kinda expected Reika to be nominated for the Pione presidence, i just didn’t expect that she would have to deal with all the problems right now…
and is there gonna be a Suiran university ark?

  21. Maybe Kaburagi has been assuming that his favour of Wakaba would have the opposite effect – that in order to get to him, people would be rushing up to kiss Wakaba’s ass. They wouldn’t want to be known as someone who bullied one of his friends (and incapable of reading the social currents). After all this is a person that constantly has people throwing themselves at his friends and himself to get closer to him to get closer to his family.

He didn’t probably didn’t account for the fact that his fan’s dislike of Wakaba would override their self preservation instincts though.

    Thanks for the chapter.

  22. What a reliable onii-sama. Bakaburagi should take notes.

Wait, I thought belly-warmers were supposed to be unfashionable… isn’t the one in the picture really cute? And the way it’s worn is so stylish as well.

Also, I’ve had this thought for awhile, but doesn’t Reika have a rather vast knowledge of diverse, historical figures? Is that the author preference or is it the standard curriculum in Japan?

Despite Reika’s misgivings, if she does become President, she’s most likely to be able to quell most of the discord between the Pivoine and the Student Council.

Thanks so much for this treat! I guess you’re free from tricks this year XDXDXD Happy (belated) Halloween!

  23. If Reika actually becomes the Pivione President, and people see her seemingly close to Fellow Stalking Horse, it may either lead to a bloodbath, or maybe she could be the bridge to connect both Student Council and Pivione instead~~~!
